Everything you see on the CalicoJoy website or craft show tables is handmade by me, just one person, in my spare time. I want to make sure that each item is made with care and quality, and I want each of my customers to have a positive experience with me and my crafts. Below are listed some of my shop policies to help keep us all on the same page.

Processing Time

When an item is in stock, it will be shipped within 1-2 business days of ordering and online payment. When an item is made to order, it will be finished and shipped as soon as possible, usually within 2 days-2 weeks, but I say 1-4 weeks to be safe. Orders will be process in order of receipt, so during busy seasons (like right before Christmas), this time might be on the longer side of that. Selecting the optional “priority shipping” ($3 extra) will make me try extra hard to get your order done on the quick side; often within a couple of days and most of the time within a week. The truth is that whenever I have a standing order, I’m always trying to get it done as quickly as I can!

Shipping

USPS basic shipping is included in the listed website prices for orders within the U.S. International orders are not currently supported. If you require expedited shipping, please contact me and let me know your deadline, and we can arrange for that.

Custom Orders

I am very happy to take custom orders! However, I do require that they be paid for up front. Customization of currently listed website items is readily available through the order form. Please note that some items do have a small upcharge for custom orders. If you have questions about a particular item or would like to get a quote on something different from the items on my website, please email me at calicojoy@gmail.com.

Returns

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, I will gladly exchange it as long as it is unworn and still bearing the tag. All you have to do is ship it back to me within 30 days of receipt, along with a note or email that states the reason for return. You will also be responsible to pay for the shipping of the replacement item. If you need to do an exchange, please contact me so that I can give you further instructions. If an item is found to be defective, I will ship you a replacement for free and refund you the extra shipping for the return.

If you would like a refund, there is a 15% restocking fee, less the shipping and handling of the order. If the item if found to be defective, the restocking fee won’t apply and a full refund would be granted within the allotted time given.

Additional Policies and FAQ’s

Please consult the hat size chart before ordering hats. Hats that do not fit but are accurately made according to the size ordered are not eligible for free replacements (see the returns section).

When taking pictures, I do the best that I can to show the true beauty of the item. Sometimes though, colors can look slightly different in photos than they do in real life. I appreciate your understanding.
