My very first craft show is in one week! I am super excited about it and I’m very curious about how it will go. I practiced a simple table setup the other night, and I’ve been using my Cricut Mini to make some cute tags and signs. This website and the e-commerce setup has been another big part of the projects involved, since I hope to pass out business cards advertising my website. I’ll be sure to let you know how it all goes. I have about 20 hats available to sell and a basket full of small pins and bows. I have no idea how many will sell, but I hope that doing this show will teach me what I need to know in case I decide to try another one later in the year.
I’d love to have input from those out on the web who have sold at craft shows before! How much inventory did you take along? Did you find it best to team up with another crafter for a more varied table, or go it alone for a more unified look? Did you find significant differences in sales at different times of the year? What did you do to visually draw people to your table or booth?
Hello, I saw your web address on my cousin Dina’s FB.
I live in Boca Raton FL kinda hot for winter wear. I was wondering, can you
make those stretchy metallic looking head bands with a big flower
on it?I know crappie description. It is for my grand daughter. I
have seen them online and they want $12.00 plus shipping; too much.
Let me know if u can figure out what I am talking about. Thanks
Debbie Nelson
Hi Debbie, thank you for your interest! I would be happy to give the project a try. It would help me to be able to make more nearly exactly what you want if you could email me a picture of what you are thinking of. Perhaps you mean something like this, http://www.imfrayedknot.com/, but with a metallic element in the yarn. As for price, do you think that $12 including shipping would sound good? My email address is [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you!
